Congratulations and well played to our Junior Captain, Joel O’Boyle, securing a hard fought win to claim his maiden ‘Top Dog’ Club Championship Trophy by 1 shot from previous winner, Jason Newton. Gross scores of 70+77 =147 and 71+77 =148. Chantelle Shaw secured yet another Ladies Weale Trophy victory in a close finish from last year’s runner up Christine Davison, this year needing a 2-hole play off to secure victory. The Tigers Championship went to Colin Potter with an excellent Nett score of 66, beating Richard Askham on countback. Adrian Field played some great golf to secure the Rabbits Championship with a Nett 69 beating Reece Caunce on countback. Special mention to Ladies Captain, Gaynor McMullan who holed out from 160yards on the 13th hole helping to secure the best Nett prize. Mr Captain, Russ Green flew in from Spain to make the presentation. Thank you to all who participated over a very busy sporting weekend, with 146 competing on Saturday and 91 on Sunday.
