The Seniors Friendly season has reached the halfway stage, with five matches played and five still to come. So far, 32 members have represented Hazel Grove, and the team has enjoyed an excellent record of four wins from five. Results so far: • Bramhall Park (Away) – Won 5–3 • Tytherington (Away) – Won 4.5–3.5 • Bramhall Park (Home) – Won 5.5–2.5 (played in torrential rain, gale-force winds and hail!) • Romiley (Away) – Lost 6.5–1.5 (best forgotten...) • Tytherington (Home) – Won 6–2 in scorching summer temperatures.
