July 21 – Rabbits WEBOA Trophy Bedale Rabbits enjoyed a well earned victory in the 3rd and final leg of the WEBOA at Wetherby against the hosts and Oakdale … securing an overall win. Bedale 264 (790) Wetherby 253 (735) and Oakdale 251 (699). A tighter score on a lovely course saw excellent individual scores from Simon Pilling 37, Chas Luchford 36 and Ian Housby 35…. backed up again right through the order with solid 30+ contributions. Always a great competition to compete in (3 fantastic courses) and the icing on the cake to win it … and so retain the WEBOA Cup for another year. Superb hospitality from our hosts rounded the day off … with Winning team pictured on the Wetherby terrace. Big thanks however 000also go to all the Bedale Rabbits selected over the 3 legs (20 in total) as every score and point gained counted.
