Course Maintenance Week Beginning 10th August
Couse Maintenance
Please be aware when booking tee times during the week beginning 10th August that our scheduled course maintenance will be taking place.The Greenkeeping Team will be carrying out essential work on the greens using a Graden machine to scarify the surfaces to a depth of 20–25 mm. Once this has been completed, kiln-dried sand will be applied directly into the grooves created by the machine. The greens will then be top-dressed with silica sand, followed by solid tining. Finally, the greens will be brushed to work the sand into the surface and leave them as tidy as possible.
We would also be very grateful for any volunteers who are available to help with the maintenance work on 10th and 11th August. If you are able to assist, please let the office know.
