Temporary Local Rule 8th Hole
8th Hole GUR on Left Hand Side by wall
Due to the current hot weather, abnormal course conditions on the 8th hole have resulted in very firm ground and unpredictable bounces. To help ensure the hole is played as fairly as possible, we have reintroduced the optional Ground Under Repair (GUR), marked by the white line alongside the wall on the left-hand side of the hole.
Players may take free relief from this GUR under the Rules of Golf, or they may choose to play the ball as it lies. This Temporary Local Rule is effective immediately and will remain in place for the foreseeable future while these conditions persist.
