Brough Golf Club v The Chosen Men Another fantastic renewal of the annual Brough Golf Club v The Chosen Men match, played on 31 July. The golf was every bit as competitive as ever, with some extremely close matches throughout the day. Brough eventually edged the opening round 5½–4½, with five outright wins and a valuable halved match helping secure the narrow advantage. As always, though, the day was about far more than the result. It was a great occasion, bringing everyone together for some competitive golf followed by an excellent evening of food, drinks and good company. It was also fantastic to see Hull 4 Heroes and the GEO & LISA Group represented and supported during the event, as shown in the photographs from the day.
