Old Links Golf - Warm Welcome
New Food & Beverage Manager appointment
The Management Committee is delighted to announce the appointment of Nick Chadwick as Southport Old Links Golf Club's new Food & Beverage Manager, following a comprehensive recruitment process involving 37 applicants a few months back.   Nick brings with him a wealth of hospitality experience, having held Head Chef positions across a number of well-respected venues, most recently at Gemini Lounge and previously at The Vincent Hotel and Tibu in Formby. Alongside his culinary expertise, he has extensive experience of leading teams, managing hospitality operations, delivering functions and events and helping develop successful food offerings.   Nick joins the club following the forthcoming retirement of Jeanette Fairhurst after 26 years of dedicated service. We are extremely grateful to Jeanette for everything she has done for the club and are pleased that there will now be a period of overlap to support a smooth handover.   Nick was originally due to join us in September, but we are delighted that he has been able to bring his start date forward and will now begin on Monday 10 August. Although he has some existing commitments during the remainder of August, members will have the opportunity to meet him as he starts to become familiar with the club, the team and our hospitality operation.   The committee believes Nick's experience, enthusiasm and vision for hospitality will be a valuable addition to Southport Old Links as we continue to develop the clubhouse experience for members, visitors and guests.   Please join us in giving Nick a warm Southport Old Links welcome.
