Hi all , greens are recovering well after renovation and new seed already started to grow in the holes. The greens will be slower for a while as we have to raise heights to protect the new bent grass that is germinating. Once it has established fully we will lower heights again.
Next week we are going to do a renovation of the tees as the temperatures are dropping down quite a bit. This is going to involve a deep scarify, overseed and top dressing. The reason we are doing this is to rip out a lot of the top layer thatch meaning that water will be able to get into the profile quicker to aid recovery. After this is done a wetting agent will be applied and watered in.
