David Roberts Claims Victory!
Congratulations to David Roberts, who has been crowned the winner of the Alex Lyle Veteran’s Trophy 60+ at Hawkstone Park Golf Club.
David produced an excellent round from the White Tees, returning a gross score of 90 off a handicap of 20.6. His consistent play throughout the round saw him finish at the top of a strong field of 47 competitors.
The competition, played in honour of Alex Lyle, is a fitting event at Hawkstone Park. Alex was a hugely influential figure at the club, serving as its professional and head greenkeeper and playing a major role in restoring the course. His legacy remains an important part of Hawkstone Park’s golfing history.
