Stonehaven Golf Club has strengthened its community links by supporting the town’s snooker players, who now use the clubhouse as their home venue. The table — the last remaining full-size snooker table in Stonehaven — has recently been fully recovered and refurbished, ensuring it remains a high-quality facility for the season ahead. With the new season running from mid-September through to April, the club’s backing gives the snooker team a reliable and well-maintained base for all their home nights. This partnership is focused on preserving an important part of Stonehaven’s sporting heritage and providing the players with a venue they can depend on. Both groups are already looking ahead. Plans include upgrading the lighting around the table and hosting more charity events, continuing the shared effort to improve and protect one of the town’s last indoor sporting assets.
