Aiden Wilson wins the Junior Club Championship
Benjamin O’Mahony wins the nett
The Junior Club Championship was played over 36 holes on Sunday and Monday with 36 playing. Continuing his recent excellent form, Aiden Wilson was the winner of the Trophy with scores of 71 and 75 for a total of 146. He had an excellent tussle with Jacob Townsend, who with two rounds of 74 for 148, was close behind in second place. Third on countback with 154 was William Aikenhead from Ben Carvalho. The winner of the nett competition was Benjamin O’Mahony, playing off 21 handicap, with two rounds of 87 nett 130. Bertie Whitchurch was second, playing off 19 handicap, with a nett 133 and in third was Joseph Fox, 10 handicap, nett 136. Captain Mat Hague watched the round on Monday before presenting the trophy to Aiden at the end of play.
