Following a review of the booking system and in an attempt to reduce the disruption caused to playing groups in Saturday competitions by so many late changes, it has been decided to pilot a different manner of booking Saturday medal times as a trial for one competition. For the G McWhinnie Trophy on Saturday 12th September, booking will not be by Zone groups with a subsequent draw. Instead, players will book a specific time. A player will be able to book themselves plus 2 other players into a selected time slot. Booking for that competition will open this Friday 4th September at 7:15pm as usual. Note that there is a time limit of approx 3 minutes to complete your booking once started. This trial will provide information which will help us to determine how competition times may be booked in future. NB: A reminder that players may not tee off before the first time shown on the booking sheet as this is outside the competition times and may result in disqualification from the competition.
