Myself and Lyns together with the Clubhouse SW1 and Gorleston Golf Club are proud to be hosting a very special golf day in support of a truly special little girl and her family on Friday 25th September.
Many of you know the amazing brown family – Katie, Lee, Harrison and Elliot and of course the one and only Phoebe who is a class mate of our eldest daughter
Sadly Phoebe has been diagnosed with an extremely rare and serious genetic condition called MEN2B. This lifelong condition has brought enormous uncertainty and challenges for phoebe and her family.
Despite everything she has faced including multiple surgeries, Phoebe has shown incredible strength, courage and resilience. No child should ever have to endure what she has, yet she continuous to inspire everyone around her with her beautiful smile and positive spirit. Having the privilege of knowing phoebe personally, we can honestly say she is one of the kindest, most caring and most wonderful little girl you could ever meet.
We are asking all golfers, friends, family and our local community to come together and help us raise as much money as possible to support the Brown family as they continue this difficult journey.
Funds raised will go directly to the brown family to help ease the financial burden of frequent stays at Addenbrookes hospital as well as allowing them to continue making precious memories together as a family.
If you are a local business and would be willing to donate a raffle prize or offer any support, we would be incredibly grateful. Every donation no matter how big or small will make a real difference.
Entries forms are available from the office. The cost is £50 (members) and £60 (visitors).
The format is an individual Stableford, shotgun start, bacon roll and coffee on arrival followed by a buffet after the game.
