Hole-in-One Reece Caunce

Huge congratulations to Reece Caunce, who recorded his first ever Hole in One on Saturday 29th August on our Par-3, 14th hole.
Reece hit a 7-wood with a slight fade, landing the ball just short of the green before watching it roll beautifully up towards the pin — and then disappear into the hole!
The timing couldn’t have been much better either. Reece was playing Darren Sedgwick in the Semi-Final of the Marshall Trophy, and the ace helped him on his way to securing a place in the final.
Reece has been playing golf for around three years, spending his first two years at Lupset before joining Pontefract & District in 2025.
A fantastic achievement and certainly a moment Reece won’t forget in a hurry.
