SCLGA President's Team Trophy Chris Tuke, Jackie Chamberlain and Jayne Barrett played in the annual SGLGA Inter Club President’s Trophy. This is a match for over 50s and the format was two scores to count on each hole. This year it was played at Bognor so as the home team we went out first at 8am. It was a blustery day but the course was in great condition after the recent rain. Chris, Jackie and Jayne came in with a total of 74 points. The winners were Chartham Park with 84 points. Our team ended 24th out of a field of 42 teams. Thanks ladies, sounds like it was a fun day! Snooker Competition The entry sheet for the winter snooker competition (Strauss Cup) is up on the notice board in the snooker room. Alternatively, there is an additional sign up sheet up on the notice board in the gents changing room. Please add your name by the end of the month if you would like to take part. Colin Chart will be carrying out the draw early in October. Thanks to Colin for running the competition again, and his ongoing maintenance of the table.
