Seniors’ Bill Blake Trophy – 2026 The Seniors’ Bill Blake Trophy was played on Tuesday 8 September on the Hawkstone Course, with competitors playing from the yellow tees. The competition produced some excellent and closely fought scoring, with Dermot Costelloe producing an outstanding round of 41 points to take the overall honours. Dermot, playing off a handicap of 13, held his nerve to finish two points clear of Mark Bates, who recorded an excellent 39 points. Peter Williams completed the Division 1 prizes with a very respectable 38 points. There was also some excellent scoring across the other divisions, with Lindsay Cook taking Division 2 with 38 points, closely followed by Roger Ball on 37 points and Martyn Bowen on 36 points. In Division 3, Ian Monk came out on top with 38 points. David Jepson finished runner-up with 35 points, while Alan Webb completed the top three with 31 points.
