Big splash for Whitehouse Cups
The Whitehouse Cups were played for on Sunday 13th September with all players getting extremely wet as the deluge came down. It was so bad 2 groups had to abandon as they tried to play the 3rd as the flag was totally surrounded by water, which had drained away when the first two groups came round on the back nine.
Winning with a nett 72 were Lesley Curnock and Matt Langmead and in second place to keep it in the family were Rich Curnock and Sandra Langmead with nett 76, who also had the only nett birdie with a 3 on the 10th.
18 players and family then enjoyed a fantastic roast dinner from Donna and her team, we recommend that all keep eyes open for the Sunday lunches which she hopefully will be starting soon.
