Glyn & David Bag the Captain & Presidents Away Day
On Friday, 48 members attended the Captain and President's Away Day at Hesketh Golf Club. The course was excellent and this was matched by the hospitality and food. Whilst the weather deteriorated in the afternoon, it didn't spoil a fantastic day. Next year's Captain even took the opportunity to scout a course for his event next year by turning up at the wrong course in the morning!
Glyn & David Bagshaw won the event with 42 points on a card playoff ahead of the Secretary & Pro and Jon Bray & Blaine Stewart.
Thank you to the Captain & President for their generosity throughout the day. Thank you to Don Milligan & Paul Taylor who ferried the clubs and bags separately to and from the course. Thank you everyone who attended to make it an Away Day to remember!
