Ladies Norfolk Scratch Carrick Cup Final 2026
Sunday 21st September
Yesterday was a big day for Wensum Valley Golf & Country Club and the Ladies section in particular!
Our very own Jules Hutchinson & Jane Sheppard played in the Final of the Norfolk Ladies Scratch Carrick Cup at Hunstanton Golf Club against the pair Jo Ashmore & Vanessa Mann from Barnham Broom. Both pairs having come through 4 knockout rounds prior to the final.
The final was a very close affair on a sunny, yet windy day on the North Norfolk coast. With some great golf being played by both pairs the match was A/S after 8 holes.
Unfortunately after this the Barnham Broom pair snuck a few holes ahead and ended up winning the match on the 16th green 3&2.
Well done to Jules & Jane for reaching the final!!! Thank you to all the supporters who made the journey over to support the ladies!
Lets go one step further next year!
