Panshanger Team win the Double
The Clapham Common Trophy and the Herts Friendly League
The National Competition called the Clapham Common Trophy was won at a neutral golf course competing against 3 other regional finalists. Winter Hill golf club near Maidenhead was the scene of the closely fought battle of the 4 golf clubs. Panshanger won with 237 points from Wycombe Heights 233 points who were their nearest rival. Rose Hill scored 213 points and Belhus Park scored 187 points.
A fantastic result from team Panshanger with their second win of this trophy in 4 years.
The Herts Friendly League was won again by team Panshanger, but for the 8th year in a row, a remarkable success. It just goes to show that our strength is playing as a team. Let's continue the successes in 2027.
