Dear Member, We would like to remind all members that they should now be using the new HowDidiDo App rather than the old Club V1 Members Hub App. If you have not already made the switch, please ensure you download and start using the new app, which is available free of charge from your usual App Store. To help identify the correct app, the new HowDidiDo App has a black flag icon surrounded by orange rings. Please note that the old Club V1 Members Hub App will be fully discontinued on 7th January 2027, so we encourage everyone to make the switch as soon as possible. Important – Your Privacy Preferences When moving over to the new HowDidiDo App, your previous privacy preferences were NOT automatically transferred. This means that if you would like fellow members to be able to view your contact details, such as your email address, mobile number, address, date of birth or CDH number, you will need to update your preferences within the new app. To do this: 1. Open the new HowDidiDo App and go to the home screen. 2. Click on the person icon in the top right-hand corner. 3. Select Preferences. 4. Go to the Privacy section. 5. For each piece of information you are happy to share, select either 'All Users' or 'Club Members'. Privacy preferences must be updated by each member individually through their own HowDidiDo App. Unfortunately, we are unable to change these settings on your behalf from the Club Office. We would encourage members to review these settings, particularly if you are happy for other members to contact you to arrange matches, competitions or social golf. How to Find Another Member's Contact Details The new app also includes a Members Directory, which allows you to search for fellow members who have chosen to make their details visible. To access this: 1. From the home screen, select the Club Page, which is the second icon along the bottom of your screen. 2. Select View Directory. 3. Search for the member you are looking for. Please remember that you will only be able to view the details that individual members have chosen to share. We hope everyone is finding the new app useful and would encourage all members to familiarise themselves with its features before the old app is discontinued.
