Dear Members, Winter Competitions Please do sign up for our Winter League mixed pairs event and Men’s Singles Knockout competition. Sign-up sheets are on the men’s notice board, and all members are welcome to take part. The Mixed Winter League is a match-play pairs competition running every second Sunday from November to March. It’s a great opportunity to meet fellow members, enjoy some competitive golf and see if you can top the league! If you can’t commit to every other Sunday but would like to help out when needed, please add your name to the bottom of the sign-up sheet to join the reserve list. The Men’s Winter Singles Knockout is open to players who can arrange matches during both weekdays and weekends. The draw will be made in November, with the competition running through to March 2027. Rules Evening – Thursday 12th November Following the success of last year’s event, we will be holding another fun Rules Evening with Martin Moreby on Thursday 12th November. Full details will follow shortly. Club Presentation Evening – Friday 27th November Our Club Presentation Evening will take place on Friday 27th November. Please do come along to collect your prizes and applaud our prize-winners! We have seen an increase in the number of members taking part in competitions this year, so a big thank you to everyone who has entered and helped make them such a success.
