Greens maintenance
Update of maintenance and current conditions
This afternoon the process of the vgr topchanger has been completed and has gone well considering the weather. Around 35 tonne of dressing has been added to our profile and once they dry out they will take us into the winter months in a better position. We had managed to brush, roll and change the holes around to over the road but unfortunately at 12 pm the heavens opened and had half an inch of rain in 1 hour. This means that at a minimum that all holes over the road will be played to temporary greens till next week when we have the next opportunity to brush, roll and put new holes in. When we left today the course was extremely wet and flooded in areas and with another storm coming in tomorrow this does mean if we can get the course open at all there will likely be some restrictions in place. The guys will be in tomorrow morning to carry out a course inspection to see how playable it is and if any trees/ large limbs have come down. The website will be updated once the inspection has taken place.
