Prize Giving Night - President's Write-Up Saturday evening saw Bognor Regis Golf Club at its best, when the winners of the 2026 competitions were honoured and fated by an appreciative audience. All three sections were represented including the Ladies for the first time so really super dooper. After an excellent meal, coffee and a drink or two, trophies and prizes were presented by Club Captain, Kevin Holton, together with Seniors Captain, Peter Kay. Most of the Silverware was taken away and is now standing in pride of place in members’ homes ready for a monthly polish. Our noble Club Manager, James Maclean, produced a seemless presentation of all the competitions showing past winners, origins of trophies plus outstanding achievements of players. The work involved and attention to facts and figures is immense and we are so lucky to have such a dedicated man leading us throughout the year with IT skills that are second to none. My thanks especially go to James and his team for all their good work plus endless congratulations to Simon and Lucy for superb food skilfully prepared and served with such great teamwork. Well done to all the winners, enjoy your year of glory and your name on an Honours Board forever. It is an Honour to be your President. Cheers Chris Hickling
