Greens Drainage Works, Midweek Stableford Results
Greens Drainage Work A quick update on the ongoing PC drainage works to the 1st and 4th greens. Unfortunately, despite the contractors attending site this morning as scheduled, they have been unable to proceed with the installation due to an issue with the condition of the specialist materials required for the works, which has prevented their equipment from operating effectively. Whilst this is disappointing, it is important that the installation is carried out correctly, and we have therefore had to reschedule the works for Friday 6th November. Fresh materials have been ordered for delivery on Thursday 5th November to ensure everything is in place for the contractors to complete the installation. Regrettably, this means that both the 1st and 4th greens will need to remain out of play, with temporary greens in use until the drainage works have been completed. We fully appreciate that this is frustrating for members, particularly as we had originally anticipated both greens being back in play by Monday 2nd November. Our greenkeeping team will do everything possible to ensure that the temporary greens are maintained to the best possible standard throughout this period. We recognise that this is far from ideal and apologise for the extended disruption. However, we remain confident that the long-term benefits of the drainage improvements will make the temporary inconvenience worthwhile. Thank you for your continued patience and understanding.
