Due to the weather starting to improve we have planned to carry out further winter improvements to the course with the following improvements - W/B 1/11- New putting green front of clubhouse ,putting area prepared then turf will be laid, Graden will be carried out on selected greens ,work includes ,thatch removal replaced with Kilne dried sand the selected greens have historically given us problems during wet weather. W/B 8/11 - 6th tee area will be extended, drainage being extended further up the hill from 6th tee tying in with last years drainage work, drainage lines raised in front of 6th and 11th greens, This winters selected bunkers will be worked on inc re shaped if needed,drained,lined with new sand being added. Full course aeration will be carried out throughout November. Thanks to £46,000 early payments being made this has allowed our course improvements be carried out in Autumn rather than the winter months allowing more time to recover for the start of next season. .
