Extensive tree and brush-cutting work has been carried out on the course today as part of our ongoing course maintenance programme. Unfortunately, it has not yet been possible to remove all of the resulting debris from the affected areas. We expect this clearance work to be completed next week. In the meantime, should your ball come to rest in any area containing cut tree branches, brush, or other debris resulting from this work, please treat the area as Ground Under Repair (GUR). Relief from Ground Under Repair (Rule 16.1):?If your ball lies in or touches a GUR area, or the GUR interferes with your stance or the area of your intended swing, you may take free relief by finding the nearest point of complete relief, no nearer the hole, and dropping within one club-length of that point.
