JUNIOR TEXAS SCRAMBLE
at Williamwood Golf Club
As our planned day at Williamwood for the juniors was cancelled due to bad weather in March, Gill McLeod kindly reorganised the event.
10 girls enjoyed a 9 hole Texas Scramble although conditions were very windy and at times, wet. We were delighted to meet some new players which is very encouraging for the future of girls’ golf in the area.
The winners were:
Aaliyah, Amy and Sophia.
Longest drive (over 10 years old)-Orla
Longest drive (under 10)-Brooke
Nearest the pin-Aaliyah
Our grateful thanks go to Williamwood Golf Club for granting us the courtesy of the course and providing drinks and pizza after the game.

The next event is a Triam at Caldwell GC on July 28th then the Campbell Clock on August 25th. Details of these events will be sent out to all clubs and the girls.
