Here are the updates for this weekend.
LADY CAPTAINS:
The next week is a big week for our Lady Captain (Miriam Horan). On Saturday the men get a chance to compete for her prize. Then on Tuesday it is over to the ladies. There will be a strokes qualifier on Tuesday with the competition hotting up on the Saturday. There are still times available for both Saturday (gents) and Tuesday (ladies) so put your name down if you are available to play. For the ladies who are attending the meal on the Saturday night can you put your name on the Saturday (July 13) timesheet to indicate that you are attending. You will need to have sufficient funds in your BRS account in order to book.Good luck to all taking part. To our Lady Captain, have a great week!
JOKER:
Tonight the Joker draw will take place after the Social golf. The jackpot will be a cook €2k.
GOOD LUCK:
Good Luck to Caoimhe O’Grady who takes represents Leinster in the Inter Provincial Championships which are being held in Mount Wolsey Golf Resort between July 9 – 11.
CLEANING TROLLIES AND SHOES:
We would again remind members to clean their trollies and their shoes in the areas provided when leaving the course. This will help us keep the clubhouse environs clean and presentable.
NEW MEMBERS:
We are glad to report that we have a number of new members join the club over the last few weeks. Some of these have joined through the Get Into Golf and others have joined because of the reputation of the club. Please help these new members to integrate into the club. Many have not played golf before so will be looking for guidance from more experienced members. I’m sure they would be delighted to have some of the established members show them around or even to bring them out for a few holes.
COMPETITION TIMES:
If you are playing in a competition then you must be on the timesheet in the competition times. This applies to times that are reserved for Casual golf and times outside of the competition timesheet. If you are in these times then you are not in the competition.

The course for the week ahead is B&C. Note on Sunday the Course is A&B
