Our last competition of the 2019 season was held on an absolutely glorious day at Greenock Golf Club.

The competition took the form of a tri-am and 30 ladies participated.

The winning team were Jan Macnab (Ranfurly Castle), Morag Turner (Kilmalcolm) and Margaret Gray (Old Ranfurly) with 77 stableford points. This has definitely been a successful two days for Jan who also won the County Rosebowl at Gleddoch on Monday - well done Jan.

Chris Fowler (Cowglen), Merope Dunlop (Old Ranfurly) and Susan Ferguson (Caldwell) were second with 71 stableford points. A great result for Susan in her first competition having just recently joined the County.

Our thanks must go to Greenock’s Mo Neilson and Cath Forbes (former county player) for organising today’s raffle which raised £123 towards county funds - your efforts are very much appreciated.

Fiona Armour deserves a mention too for preparing and setting up the competition to make life easy for both Marilyn Muir and myself today - thank you.

And last, but not least, our thanks goes to Greenock Golf Club for their warm welcome and the excellent catering.
