How to repair a pitch mark
Can we please ask all members and visitors to help us maintain the condition of the greens by repairing your own and at least one other pitch mark per green.
Take your ball mark repair tool and insert the prongs into the turf at the edge of the depression itself. DO NOT insert the prongs into the depression itself, but at the rim of the depression.
Then push the edge of the ball mark towards the centre, using your ball mark repair tool in a gentle twisting motion.
A pitch mark repaired within 10 minutes of being made will fully recover in 3 days. A poorly repaired pitch mark or one left for a day before repairing will take over a week to repair!
