Club AGM & Captain's Changeover Dinner
AGM Postponement
Please read below the message from the committee regarding the club AGM and Captain's Changeover Dinner.
Dear Members,
In light of the Government Coronavirus update today please note we are postponing the AGM to a later date, yet to be advised. As the formalities of the AGM won’t be taking place on Wednesday evening, Mike Lapare and Gini Whitehead will be taking over as ‘Acting Captain' and ‘Acting Lady Captain’ with Nick Elderkin and Josie Connolly being ‘Acting Vice Captains’ as from 28 March and until the AGM can be rearranged.
The Captains’ Drive In and competition will still take place as normal, from 0730 am on Saturday 28 March and it will be each individual’s personal choice and risk assessment as to whether they wish to participate. Please advise the Pro Shop if you wish to enter (or wish to cancel).
Regretfully the Changeover Dinner will also be postponed to a later date, possibly sometime in May or June or later if necessary. Likewise all other social events will be considered on an individual basis and advised to members ahead of the specified date, until such time as the Government advice alters.
Otherwise, all golf competitions and play will continue as normal (weather permitting) for those who wish to play.
