The lambs first appeared on the course during the lockdown period, and we believe they are the offspring of the sheep which appeared in February (which unfortunately passed away). Estate Manager Andrew and his family had been taking care of the lambs during lockdown, but as a few members may have noticed the lambs were separated and looking rather sad last week.
We are very pleased to report the lambs, both girls aptly named 'Gog' and 'Magog', have now been rescued by Toby Dean, owner of The Cambridge Lamb Company - he hopes to breed from them next year.
Pictured are the lambs on Friday, travelling to their new home.
