Nigg Bay Golf Tee Times
To all Golfing Members,
Please be aware that from next Saturday August 22nd.Members of the Caledonian, Northern and Bon Accord have been given permission to play at Balnagask every Saturday for their medal play.
This decision came about at a meeting with the three clubs and Sport Aberdeen as a result of the ongoing issues they are having with the conditions of the greens at the Kings Links.
The Kings Links will now be on winter greens for the foreseeable future until all remedial work will be concluded.
The three member clubs have been issued tee times for 3.00 pm till 6.00 pm every Saturday at Balnagask and Hazlehead.
As you will be aware these allocated times will not suit many of the members of these three clubs as many players have other commitments .
This will mean that tee times that are booked through Sport Aberdeen will be at a premium for your preferred tee time on a Saturday at Nigg Bay.
I would urge all our golfing members to use or online App when booking a tee time .
Recently when we have submitted our tee time booking sheet there have been quite a few spaces marked available which really needs to be totally filled.
It is my concern as Match Secretary of Nigg Bay that if we do not fill our allocation of tee times which have been issued by Sport Aberdeen we might lose them and these times times will be issued to the three clubs as mentioned.
Our tee time booking sheet when submitted will be looked at closely and any times that are marked available will be issued to these clubs.
Our online booking form is available from 12.00 pm every Sunday and closes on Monday at 8.00 pm.
This booking form is then submitted to Sport Aberdeen .
I know that many members who play at Nigg booked tee times through Sport Aberdeen (via) telephone or using the online booking system but please be aware as i have mentioned many tee times will be at a premium from now on.
