The 3 Captains' Drive In was held last Sunday in which 12 teams of 3 players (one from each section of the Club - Men, Ladies & STAGS) had a most enjoyable morning of golf as well as raising £183 for the Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.

The format was a Stableford competition where the best 2 scores out of 3 were taken on each hole.

The 3rd placed team of Ivan Green, Vinny Howlett & Liza Ballam scored 82 points, 2nd were the team of Barry Green, Aly Andrews & Adele Quinn with 86 points and the winners with a stupendous score of 89 points were Mark Sheppard, Ken Hodson & Sue Waring!

Nearest the Pin on 7th/16th was won by Tony Rhodes for the Gents and Liza Ballam for the Ladies.

Finally the winner of "where will the Captains' ball land?' was Ken Hodson who was closest to Tracey Catling's superb drive.
