Clean Sweep for DDGC
The Bedfordshire County Championships were held here at Dunstable Downs over the weekend, and what a weekend it was.
Paul Kenna shot three fantastic rounds of 69, 75 and 68 for a combined score of 212 (+2) to pick up first place and become the Bedfordshire County Champion. Picture attached of Paul with the trophy and Ade Yule - Club Captain.
Following Close behind in second place was Rob Sutton, shooting 73, 69, 71 for a combined score of 213 (+3).
For the clean sweep, Chris Spooner picked up third place shooting 73, 71, 71 for a combined score of 215 (+5).
With a 1st, 2nd and 3rd finish, Dunstable Downs also picked up the team prize, winning by a whopping 25 shots.
