Decommissioned fairway bunker
Local Rule - Decommissioned bunker on LHS 12th Fairway.
If a ball is in the ground under repair (within the decommissioned fairway bunker located at dog leg on left hand side of 12th fairway denoted by a white line), including when it is known or virtually certain that a ball that has not been found came to rest in the ground under repair, the player may:
• Take free relief under Rule 16.1, or
• As an extra option, take free relief by dropping the original ball or another ball in the dropping zone (defined by white lines and DZ adjacent to ground under repair). The dropping zone is a relief area under Rule 14.3.
Penalty for Playing Ball from a Wrong Place in Breach of Local Rule: General Penalty Under Rule 14.7a.
