Harley Lorence & Tom Miller fired the opening shots in this year's Chairman's ladder.
46 members played in Saturday's opening round on a beautful autumn morning , the greens on the West Course were in great shape with some testing pins challenging the players.
Harley Lorence won the opening match 3 & 2 to remain at the top. Ross White defeated his great friend Simon Clark 3 & 2 to move to no.2 and top challenger.
David Twynam won the only match going into exta holes on the 20th.
There was only 6 x 2's paying £35 each.
