Play-off win for Super Sue Davis in Gold Vase
Jane goes so close to winning the Gold Vase
Jane (pic left ) & Sue (pic right) shared the spoils as Jane Saunders won the Farrant Vase for the 5th time & Sue Davis the Gold Cup. The nett was won by Jane by 6pts , but the scratch trophy required a play-off over 5 holes.
Both players started confidently with the first 4 holes halved, but it was defending Champion, Sue Davis who eventually won with a great iron shot into the 18th green and a solid 4 to take the Gold Vase for the 6th year running.
