52 players played on a glorious Halloween Saturday, the course was in great shape and a great days golf was had by all. Mark O'Hara remains the man to beat in the Ladder as he dished out a hot performance against Paul Cullen on Halloween. Mark won the match 3 & 2 as Cullen missed the chance to go top and drops to 4th place with Carmine Porpora into 2nd place. Mark’s third straight win has drawn the handicap committee’s attention ahead of its January review. If he remains unbeaten, his former opponents will likely request a handicap reduction. James Dempsey is into 3rd with Donal McCarthy up into 6th place with Max Evans hot on their heels in 9th place, these players will carry their stars into next week hoping for a crack at the top spot should they win. Only 4 players now have 100% records in the league, Mark O’Hara, Carmine Porpora, Tom Forman & Tom Aye-Moung with 12 players 2pts behind. There were 9 x 2’s paying £28.50 each.
